Ricky Walden won his first match since becoming a father by beating Li Ningning 4-0 in the last 128 of the Haining Open in China.

World number ten Walden pulled out of last month’s Shanghai Masters after wife Natalie gave birth to their first child, and he then lost 4-3 to Gerard Greene on his return to the circuit at the Ruhr Open.
But the Chester cueman, who will be defending his International Championship title next week in China, enjoyed a comfortable win in his first match in Haining, albeit with a top break of just 47.
Four-time World Champion John Higgins also cruised into the last 64 as he beat Li Yan 4-1 with a top run of 77.
Oliver Lines – early exit
Robert Milkins compiled breaks of 80, 58, 100 and 74 as he beat Feng Zeyuan 4-2 while last season’s Yixing Open finalist Oliver Lines suffered a 4-1 reverse against Li Yuan.
Xiao Guodong saw off Qin Jianfeng 4-0 while China Open finalist Gary Wilson top scored with 83 in a 4-2 win over Huang Jiahao.
Dominic Dale enjoyed a 4-1 win over Wang Peng while Leo Fernandez edged out Matthew Selt 4-3.
