Judd Trump won four matches out of four – losing just one frame – to take the lead in Championship League Snooker Group Four in Coventry on Wednesday.

World number three Trump beat Ali Carter 3-0, Liang Wenbo 3-0, Shaun Murphy 3-0 and Tom Ford 3-1, making three centuries during the day. Barry Hawkins is second in the group with two wins out of two, followed by Shaun Murphy who won two of his three matches.
The winner of the group will go through to the overall Winners’ Group in March, joining Zhou Yuelong, Mark Selby and Kyren Wilson who came through the first three groups.
Championship League Snooker is a venture between Matchroom Sport and Perform where 25 of the game’s elite players compete with matches broadcast on a host of betting websites.
