Eugene Kaspersky, chairman and CEO of Kaspersky Lab, said: “I’ve always loved the game of snooker – both its spirit and intensity; I could watch it all day. I’m really happy we’re supporting this amazing event.”

In 2014, the Kaspersky Riga Open was the first ever professional snooker tournament to be staged in Latvia and was won by Mark Selby. The event was held again in 2015 with Barry Hawkins lifting the trophy.
