  • Clark secured a fresh two-year tour card at the end of the 2016/17 season, by virtue of his performance in the campaign’s one-year list. He reached the last 16 at the European Masters and the English Open.
  • He put in his best performance of the 2015/16 season at the China Open. He reached the last 32, beating 1997 World Champion Ken Doherty and Mark Davis before losing to Alfie Burden.
  • The Scot also scored an impressive victory over compatriot Graeme Dott at the 2016 Gdynia Open.
  • He qualified for the World Snooker Tour for the first time in 2015 by coming through Q School. He beat Leo Fernandez 4-1 in the final round of event one.
  • Clark had previously competed in several ranking events as an amateur, notably beating both Kurt Maflin and Pankaj Advani to reach the last 64 of the 2015 Indian Open.
