  • England’s O’Connor reached his maiden ranking semi-final in his rookie season on the professional circuit. He went on a remarkable run to the last four of the 2019 Welsh Open in Cardiff, defeating Kyren Wilson, Ding Junhui and John Higgins along the way before losing out against Stuart Bingham.
  • O’Connor earned his spot on the World Snooker Tour in 2018 thanks to success in the EBSA Playoffs. He defeated Oliver Brown 4-0 in the final round to secure a tour card for the first time.
