  • He managed to retain his tour status in 2016/17 thanks to his performance in the season’s one-year list. Sharav required strong performances at the back end of the campaign. He reached the last 32 in the season’s penultimate event the China Open. He then won his opening match at World Championship qualifying, beating Jamie Cope 10-5, to retain his tour card.
  • He qualified for the World Snooker Tour by coming through Q School in 2015. He beat Adam Duffy 4-3 in the final round of event one.
  • Sharav competed as an amateur in several ranking events in 2014/15 and reached the last 64 of the International Championship and Indian Open.
  • His father is Israeli which meant that Sharav was able to represent Israel at the 2017 Snooker World Cup in China.
