The European Tour event will run from July 18 to 21 at the Topsport Centrum and will be the first professional snooker event in The Netherlands for over 20 years.
Among the cue kings competing in the tournament are legend John Higgins, potting sensation Judd Trump, UK and Masters champion Mark Selby and Belgian whizz-kid Luca Brecel.
Four-time World Champion Higgins made the perfect start to this season's European Tour by winning the Bulgarian Open last month, and the Wizard of Wishaw is targeting more success.
"I'm really looking forward to the Rotterdam Open, it's great to go to a new event in a country where professional snooker hasn't been for a long time," said Higgins.
"I've had a good start to the season, winning in Bulgaria and getting to the final of the Wuxi Classic, and I'm hoping for another title in The Netherlands. I can't wait to see the reception from the Dutch fans and I hope they will support the event."
The tournament will start with an amateur pre-qualifying day on July 18, with the professionals taking the stage the following day. Other top stars in contention for the 25,000 Euro top prize will include Shaun Murphy, Stephen Maguire, Barry Hawkins, Mark Williams, Stuart Bingham, Ricky Walden and Matthew Stevens.
Tickets are on sale now and start at just 20 Euros for a day pass.
