Fu had earlier won five of his six league matches before completing the play-offs without conceding a frame. He had also recorded five of the seven centuries recorded in the event.
It was a disappointing four straight final defeats for Maguire as he was eliminated from the tournament he first entered in Group 2, but he can console himself with a total haul of £24,600.
Fu was delighted to have come good at such an important part of the season; "I played well and it was one of those things where everything went for me, all the kisses and everything.
"Also, nobody played that well against me. I haven't been playing that well lately so it's nice to get some form before China and then the World Championship and hopefully I can continue like this tomorrow."
The final stage of the 2013 event commences on Wednesday as the champions of the seven groups convene to determine the destination of over around £40,000 in prize money. Joining Fu will be a stellar line up consisting of John Higgins, Martin Gould, Ding Junhui, Barry Hawkins, Mark Allen and Ali Carter.
Earlier, Maguire disposed of Andrew Higginson in his semi-final, while Fu took care of Robert Milkins. The Gloucester man very nearly missed out as mistakenly believing he had not qualified for the play-offs as the final group matches concluded, he sped off back towards the West Country. Eventually contacted by phone he made it back to Crondon with 30 minutes to spare.
The Championship League Snooker event is a venture between Matchroom Sport and Perform where 25 of the game's finest players compete with all matches broadcast on a host of betting websites.
Each group features seven players with each man playing the other six once in a round-robin basis. Every match is the best of five and the winner gains one point with the loser getting zero.
At the end of the league phase the top four advances to that group's semi-finals where the two winners meet in the final and the winner advances to the Winners' Group at the end of March.
The losing finalist, two losing semi-finalists and player finishing fifth move into the next group where they are joined by three new players and the process is repeated.
