Patrick Einsle has pulled out of all remaining events on the World Snooker Tour this season, and has been replaced by Liu Song.

Germany's 23-year-old Einsle, ranked 88th in the world, played in the first three ranking events and the Players Tour Championship series but has now decided to withdraw.

China's Liu finished ninth on last season's one-year ranking list, missing out on a place on the tour by one place. He was allowed to play in the first two ranking events of the current season due to John Higgins' suspension. He is can now compete in all remaining events, starting with this week's German Masters qualifiers.
