Jimmy White beat Chen Zhe by the narrowest of margins

The second half of the last 64 will be played on Saturday evening, leaving 32 survivors on Sunday to do battle for the trophy and £32,000 top prize.
Murphy, who has never been past the quarter-finals of this event, beat John Astley in the second round, making a break of 34 and winning 56-8.
Doherty made a 46 as he saw off China’s Zhao Xintong 60-19.
Veteran White came through a dramatic finish against Chen Zhe. China’s Chen trailed by five points with a few seconds left when he missed the pink to a top corner. There was still time for White to foul on the last red but he won 45-44.
Ross Muir knocked Michael Holt out
Jack Lisowski came from 33-0 down to beat Chris Wakelin thanks to an excellent break of 53.
Cao Yupeng won an all-Chinese battle against Liang Wenbo by a 42-32 scoreline, after Liang missed the last red to a centre pocket when he had a chance to snatch victory.
Dominic Dale, who won this event in 2014, comfortably saw off Iran’s Hossein Vafaei 78-24. Defending champion Robin Hull lost 25-18 against Fergal O’Brien.
