Snooker’s biggest tournament is coming up at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield (April 21 and May 7) and here are a few points for fans to remember during the event:
Message from the Crucible about the Cloakroom:
Our Cloakroom will be open during sessions for you to leave your coats and bags with us but please don’t bring any suitcases or large holdalls as we do not have enough space to store them*. Small handbags (no bigger than A3 size, 300mm x 420mm) are permitted to be taken into the auditorium. All bags brought into the Crucible, or stored in the Cloakroom will be searched by security.
*As a guide, any bags larger than cabin size (H 550mm X W 45mm D 20mm) will not be stored in the cloakroom so please do not bring them.
To ensure safety please be advised security may search customers using hand held body scanners to prevent restricted items from entering the building.
Sorry football fans…but from this year, spectators are requested to dress smartly in the arena. The Event Promoter requests that no sportswear or team sport shirts are worn. If in the opinion of the Event Promoter an item of clothing is not deemed suitable to wear in the arena the person will be refused admission until such time they have found an alternative item of clothing that is deemed acceptable.
